Armadillo Setup

Step 1

Welcome! It looks like this is the first time you're using Armadillo, so we need to setup a few things before you can login and start creating the Best Website Ever.

Enter the information for connecting to your database below. If you don't know this information get in touch with your web hosting provider, and they should be able to help.

Enter Database Details

Database Hostname This is the 'address' where your database is located. For many web hosts, the database is on the same server, so 'localhost' should work just fine. But some hosts (GoDaddy, 1&1, NimbleHost, etc.) put the database on a separate server, so this value may be different from 'localhost'.

Name of Database This is the name of the database you've created (or that has been created for you) to use with Armadillo.

Database Username The username Armadillo should use when connecting to your database. Depending on your web hosting provider, this may be the same as your database name.

Database Password This is the password needed to login to your database.

Enter the password for the Admin user. Be sure to use a strong password, greater than six characters and including both upper and lowercase letters, as well as numbers.

Confirm Password Confirm the admin password you entered above.

Email

Double-check your email for accuracy. If you need to reset your password, this is where the notification will be sent.
